Membership Categories
State Agency Membership
State Agency Membership ($1,250) is reserved for an agency or multiple agencies within a State or Territorial government or a Federally Recognized Tribe that are involved with brain injury. This membership includes four (4) representative memberships ($1500 value) designated by the agency or agencies. Designees can be from various agencies within the State, Territory, or Federally Recognized Tribe. Representative memberships can be transferred to others within the State, Territory, or Federally Recognized Tribe. A State, Territory, or Federally Recognized Tribe can purchase multiple State Agency Memberships. Membership runs from January to December of each year.
Individual Full Membership
Individual Full Membership ($375) is available to any individual employed by a State, Territory, or Federally Recognized Tribe, to include program directors, program staff, emerging leaders, those with interest in brain injury and more. Membership runs from January to December of each year.
State Retiree Membership
State Retiree Membership ($175) is for individuals who have retired from service with a State or Territorial government or a Federally Recognized Tribe and are not currently employed by a Supporting Member organization. This unique tier of membership is for those interested in continuing their legacy in the field of brain injury and mentoring emerging leaders in State or Territorial government or a Federally Recognized Tribe. Membership runs from January to December of each year.
Individual Associate Membership
Individual Associate Membership ($250) is for individuals employed with a business or organization (except for State or Territorial governments) with an interest in prevention, public policy, treatment, rehabilitation, community-integration and service coordination within the field of brain injury. Those who may be members in this category would be administrators and program staff of national and community-based non-profit organizations, medical and rehabilitation providers, researchers and business owners with state and federal contracts. Membership runs from January to December of each year.
Supporting Organization: Non-Profit Membership
Supporting Organization Membership, Non-Profit, ($1,250) is for organizations and non-State agencies, with an interest in prevention, public policy, treatment, rehabilitation, community-integration, and service coordination within the field of brain injury. Each supporting organization membership includes three (3) Individual Associate Memberships as well as marketing exposure on the NASHIA website, an annual feature in a NASHIA newsletter, and the first opportunity to be a sponsor at the annual conference. Examples of organizations and agencies that participate at this membership level include: non-profit brain injury organizations and community service providers. Membership runs from January to December of each year.
Supporting Organization: For-Profit Membership
Supporting Organization Membership, For-Profit, ($1,875) is available to for-profit companies with an interest in prevention, public policy, treatment, rehabilitation, community-integration, and service coordination within the field of brain injury. Each supporting organization membership includes three (3) Individual Associate Memberships as well as marketing exposure on the NASHIA website, an annual feature in a NASHIA newsletter, and the first opportunity to be a sponsor at the annual conference. Examples of companies that participate at this membership level include: rehabilitation hospitals, residential service providers, therapeutic service providers, universities, and supply companies (assistive technology, durable medical equipment, etc.). Membership runs from January to December of each year.
Student Membership
Student Membership ($50) is for individuals who are currently enrolled in a high school or post-secondary institution (verification required). Students with an interest in brain injury will benefit from networking with leaders in the field and learning more about becoming a future leader. Membership runs from January to December of each year.
Advisory Council Membership
Advisory Council Membership ($500) is for States to support two representatives of a State Brain Injury Advisory Council, with interest in connecting to other Advisory Council members and to professionals in the field, as members of NASHIA. This category of membership affords the two representatives with all of the benefits of Associate Membership. The intention is for States to select and pay for this membership. Membership runs from January to December of each year.
Benefactor Membership
Benefactor Membership ($2,500+) is for a person or organization/business/association with interest in prevention, public policy, treatment, rehabilitation, community-integration, and service-coordination within the field of brain injury that recognizes the value of NASHIA’s efforts and contributes $2,500 or more. Benefactors’ generosity will strengthen NASHIA’s mission to assist States in promoting partnerships and building systems to meet the needs of individuals with brain injury and their families. Membership runs from January to December of each year.
