“Thank you for the opportunity in providing NASHIA Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship allowed me to broaden my horizon in understanding the immense support and connections that many in our nation are working to provide to help better understand brain injury and its impact. I have been a caregiver to brain injury for years, however it has been just in the last few years that I started to take on more education behind brain injury. Attending this event has shown me how even in the agency I work with could improve our care with more education provided. Thank you for providing me with more enthusiasm on wanting to continue to learn and educate others.”
